PR 2.0 essentials

PR 2.0 essentials ebookThis is a nice one from Shift Communications. They have come out with a PR 2.0 Essentials ebook, which gives one basic ideas of RSS, blogging, memes, tagging, podcasts, wikis, social networking, social bookmarking, and the social media press release and how this generation's PR professionals can use these new tools to their advantage. As it says, this will serve as an initial and basic guide through the PR 2.0 jungle.

Whenever there is a new idea floating around, if there is someone who takes the initiative to put that idea into perspective and in a structured manner, the idea takes root as an entity from where it developes further. Shift Communications, firstly coming out with the social media press release template and now this, certainly has earned the applause of many PR professionals, including mine.
