We hear that the Vaishnavi management is set to open a new agency called Witcom to handle its non-Tata accounts.
So is this the answer to that tea-time joke among PR honchos about what will happen to the agency if Tata moves all its accounts to another agency?

Witcom, a witty name indeed. With the immense hold that Vaishnavi Head honchos have within the Tatas, it is next to impossible for Tata to shift agencies. The key question is how will they find people to run Witcom when Vaishnavi itself has been loosing talent for last 2 years and being unable to deliver.
It seems Witcom lost out in the first round of Tata Tele - Virgin Mobile PR Pitch held in 2nd week of October. What a good beginning....Good luck to the wit(ty)Com team.
Hey. This new agency has caused enough turbulence already. One of Vaishnavi's founding team members has quit after her colleague was promoted to head this WitCom thing of Nira Radia.
What more, this lady who has quit has fired a salvo at Radia and her gang accusing them of misappropriations, tax evasions and even past links of Radia. A couple of my journalist friends have got a letter.
Apparently, being Witty is a way of life at Vaishnavi. As the lady also accusses her colleagues of teasing her by calling "Naik nahi Khalnayak hai Tu".
The letter highlights evasion of income tax to tune of Rs. 27 crore, Professional Tax evasion, A lobbying firm (illegal in India) funded by Radia and much more on her personal front. Anyone gotta copy? Do put it on this blog, the biggest news in PR this week.
